Cloudflare 聯名 Chrome 與 Firefox 一起宣布了該消息。此前，Chrome 在 Canary 版本中已經增加了對 HTTP/3 的支持，另一邊 Mozilla 也表示，將在今秋晚些時候推出的 Firefox Nightly 版本中推出對 HTTP/3 的支持。
雖然 Chrome Canary 與 Firefox Nightly 都不適合普通用戶使用，但是有經驗的用戶都可以使用這兩個實驗版本，這些用戶會希望自己搶先測試 HTTP/3。
