通過創建RAID,我們已經將多塊盤構建成了一塊邏輯上的大盤。如果不使用LVM,就只能將這一個大盤(raid)作為一個磁碟設備對待,比如/dev/md0。通常,由於raid設備的磁碟空間巨大,需要分割或者按照某種規劃按需使用比較合理,這就是LVM發揮作用的時候了。
創建pv
pvcreate /dev/md0
查看一下剛剛創建的pv:
pvdisplay /dev/md0
