Web2DB' Response to User's Requirement

Data Extraction for a fewmanufacturer websites
--iouapd
I am lookingfor data extraction from various manufacturer websites that would extract to anexcel format all the fields of and descriptions of their products into an exceldocument. In addition, I would like to have their image saved as the item#.There are approximately 10 manufacturer sites and within each site there areapprox 2k items for extraction. Therefore approx 20000 line items and images.I'm willing to pay $0.05 per line! So if you are a great coder, you can programand just extract and continue to make money.... I will also have this type oftask on-going for other manufacturers and for newly listed products...Therefore, this could be a great revenue stream for you.

shopping cart data extractionHello, I amlooking for a company that is experienced with extracting data and prices froma shopping cart online.
I have a listof 72 web-based sources of used cars in the UK, and need a Perl module writtenfor each source to extract live car data from the source's website. Some of thesources are just a simple list (or collection of lists) of cars, but mostemploy a search facility that needs to be queried with appropriate arguments. The module structure is already defined, and must be adhered to, in order tointegrate with our existing code.
I shall providethe following:-
- list of used car sources
- Perl module and supporting modules
- instructions for writing a car search module
I would requirefrequent feedback on the coder's progress through the list of sources, andregular delivery of code in exchange for regular payment.
Horseracing data collectionI will try todescribe what I want to the best of my ability but please excuse my ignorancewhen it comes to technical terms as I am really out of my depth here.
I am lookingfor some one to write a program that will automatically collect dailyhorseracing data from a specific website www.racingpost.co.uk allthough thewebsite is open to the public and all the information is freely available forpersonal use it is password protected in order to view the data stored.
I want something that will automatically collect
horses name, weight, days since last run, trainer, jockey, trainers course strikerate, jockeys course strike rate, trainers current form (%) jockeys current form(%) expected starting price there are likely to be one or two more criteria aswell.I would also like certain figures to be highlighted if they pass a certainfigure, for example any jockey whose winning rides at the course exceed 10%would automatically be highlighted in blue.
I have been struggling along myself copying and pasting alll this data into aspreadsheet but it just takes to long to be productive and ideally the programcould do this for me and open either in a spreadsheet or in a PDF document.
I am sure I have missed out loads of important bits of information but thatalll I can think of at the moment so please feel free to ask me any questions.
I will include a test username and password enabling you access in to the sitefrom there you can view all data.
